Socks
Hand-knitted socks from luxurious handcrafted yarns. An ephemeral collection based on my "favorite" balls.
The origins
In the beginning, I knitted, I was 7 years old... n8 needles, gray wool that scratches to make a scarf for my dad, it was so rigid that he could barely tie it around his neck! As a teenager, I started again with sweaters during the summer holidays, there were still woolen shops almost everywhere where you could touch and feel the balls! At the age of 20, I had my embroidery period until the children arrived and then, there was no more time for anything... A few years ago, I got my grandmother's old black Singer machine with a pedal. Looking back, I don't know how I was able to sew with it... It was so laborious that I gave up and... went back to knitting. I discovered Ravelry for the models and with the social networks of little fairies who dye wool by hand, fabulous! (photos in the gallery). Since then I have invested in a new sewing machine and a stitching machine which is changing the lives of seamstresses! I got into tops (Fraise from Craftine in the photo), jumpsuits and underwear. With a good machine you can do anything! Another time for other adventures ....
